Good morning everyone! Today I’m linking up with Running With Spoons for Thinking Out Loud.
Birthday cake is always acceptable for breakfast. Always.
My cousins look older than me, but I’m actually the oldest one. (My sister is in the middle.)
Sometimes buying the wrong socks ends up being a life saver when you don’t want to shave your legs. (I know my thighs are exposed, but its really the lower half of my legs that get a little jungle-ish).
The land has been greening up at home and looks beautiful right now. Say hi to the steers. I usually go with “Hey boys!” They always lift a hoof and wave at me or nod their head in recognition or turn and run the other way.
When working for my Dad on our farm my hairstyle of choice is a cap. I just pull my hair through the back and voila! hair is done for the day.
I didn’t work out yesterday. Tuesday’s workout at Crossfit was a tough one anyways.
WOD: 20 min of AMRAP
400m Run
10 Snatch-grip Deadlifts
20 Abmat Sit-Ups
30 Double Unders or 90 single unders
Once 4 rds were completed you got on a rower. I rowed for about 1 minute.
Some of the kitties wanted to get into a staring contest the other day. They won. They beat me with their cuteness.
My Mom made my favorite enchiladas for my early birthday dinner last night and they were super delicious and a little spicy with all the green chile! By the way don’t you just love our orange counter tops! I bet you’re going to pin orange counter tops on pinterest right now. Kidding.
As I get older, I’ve realized that the gifts I get for my birthday really don’t matter. It’s just a nice reason to gather with family. It’s a nice reason to get together with your friends. Plus the gifts you get as a young adult aren’t as cool anyways. I’m incredibly blessed to have the family that I do.
Have a great Thursday! Be sure to come back tomorrow for 21 Things I’ve Learned My 21st Year! Trust me I’ve learned a lot!
No questions. Just share your thoughts!

I can’t even handle the cuteness of those kittens. I want the tortoise one (that’s what they’re called, right?) that’s not even looking at the camera. OO! Either that or the little black and white one with the black mask. I’d call it Zorro 😉
And… HAPPY [early] BIRTHDAY, lovely lady 😀

What a fantastic way to celebrate a birthday! Cake for breakfast is definitely a win. I agree that spending time with loved ones matters far more than the presents.

Cake for breakfast = my dream for every daaaaaaaaay! Those kittens are the cutest as well. My willpower shrinks every time I come face to face with a kitten! Haha. That sounds like the best way to celebrate a birthday!
