Currently// May
Today I’m linking up with In Residence and Gold and Bloom for the May edition of Currently.
Designing// A life that I love. I often let stereotypical expectations of what I think I should be doing get in the way of what I truly, deep down want to be doing with my life.
Enjoying// My time with my high school seniors. Friday will be their last day at school and I’m already crying on the inside. These next couple of days will be emotional. I know they are super ready to be done and to graduate, but I’m really going to miss them. They are going to do awesome things!
Ordering// A 50mm 1.4D lens for my Nikon d90. It’s lingering on my Pinterest board ready for me to buy it or to be passed off as a birthday present idea. I need that lens in my life. It’s vital. I need it for not only blogging photography, but also people photography.
Celebrating// Two of my best friends graduate from college this weekend, so this weekend will be full of celebration. All of my other best girlfriends who have graduated are coming back into town this weekend. I’m thrilled to be reunited with my girls. I’m ready to catch up on life. I’m in need of all the laughter that will happen. I’m looking forward to hearing about everyone’s promising futures.
Tasting// The freedom of summer is around the corner bringing plenty of iced coffees, sunburns, tractors, wheat fields, and yellow lab dogs. But be patient young grasshopper, two more weeks of school stand between you and summer.

You’re right that summer is so close! I’m looking forward to it being here. I only have one more week of school work and less than four weeks til my very own college graduation!!

while summer still means work for this gal, I can’t wait for summer shandys, grillin on the patio, smell of fresh cut grass & summer storms <3

I love your first one — that was me for the longest time. I was doing what I thought I SHOULD be doing, not what I WANTED to do. It brings such freedom when you let go of expectations & choose to do something you actually enjoy!
